Renowned filmmaker Rohit Shetty, celebrated for hits like Golmaal and Singham series, recently addressed lingering rumors of a fallout with Shah Rukh Khan post-Dilwale in an exclusive interview. Shetty, who marked his digital debut with the action-packed web series Indian Police Force, is currently immersed in the filming of Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Despite the success of their collaborations in Chennai Express and Dilwale, Shetty revealed the reason behind the hiatus in working with SRK. He emphasized the importance of a compelling storyline, stating, “If I get a good story, it should surpass Chennai Express. If such a subject comes up, we will definitely work together.”
During the interview, Shetty also shared poignant insights into his father, MB Shetty, a renowned stuntman in Bollywood. He recounted a tragic incident on the sets of Bombay 405 Miles that led to his father’s demise. A mix-up in positions during a stunt scene resulted in a fatal petrol blast, causing the death of a stuntman named Mansoor. Shetty’s father, taking responsibility, faced personal struggles, turned to alcoholism, and eventually passed away a year later.

Despite personal tragedies, Rohit Shetty continues to make waves in the industry. Having recently entered the digital realm with Indian Police Force, he remains committed to delivering blockbuster entertainment, with Singham Again in the pipeline.
