In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, the charismatic actor shared insights into his experience shooting the iconic ‘Please Wale Smile’ scene in Fighter and teased fans with a glimpse of the intriguing transformation of his character, Kabir, in War 2.
During the conversation, Roshan expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love Fighter has received, acknowledging the challenges he faced while shooting the endearing ‘Please Wale Smile’ scene. He revealed, “It was difficult because it could become caricaturish. I had to bring in some amount of me into it. Yeah, that was tough.” Despite the difficulty, the actor successfully infused his personal touch, creating a moment that left audiences smiling in theaters.
Responding to the audience’s desire for a similar smile in Krrish 4, Hrithik shared his thoughts on the matter, stating, “Very fortunate with all the reviews and all the compliments coming our way, it’s very, very encouraging. Really feeling like I have gotten enough of a pat on my back to feel the strength and get into war now.”
Speaking of War 2, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, Hrithik provided a sneak peek into his character, Kabir, in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial. He declared, “Kabir has definitely left a mark. And getting into Kabir’s boots is going to be fun because this time, my challenge is to show Kabir in a different light. A different aspect of him which is going to be interesting.”
