The Twin Flames Universe (TFU), led by Jeff Ayan and his wife Shaleia, used the concept of “twin flames” to establish a manipulative, cult-like organization according to former members and the documentary “Escaping Twin Flames.” Ayan capitalized the spiritual notion of a soul-level connection to amass wealth, control followers’ lives and dictate their relationships, sexuality, and gender identity.
